ππTEATRE ACTING-THE JOURNEY THAT BECAME MY LIFEππ
ππ DRAMA IN MY LIFE ππ
πππA turning point in life is not always a single moment. ππSometimes, it is journey that takes years of belief ,patience, and self - discipline. From 2021-2026 ,I have walked a path deeply connected to theatre acting- a path that shaped not only my career, but my identity. Before my O/L examinations, I made a decision that changed my life; I those theatre acting. As a child, I once dreamed of becoming a doctor. But as I grew older , πππI realized that my true strength lived elsewhere. Acting felt natural to me. Expressing emotions, stepping in to characters using my voice and body to tell stories- this was where I truly belonged. From very young age ,many people noticed my ability to act and encouraged me. Even though my school did not offer theatre acting as a subject until Grade 10, I never gave up I knew this was the field I wanted to commit my life toπππππThe A/L period from 2021 to 2023 became a curial chapter in my journey.π During this time , I gained a deeper understanding of aesthetic subjects and theatre acting. Most importantly, I Wass guided by Pramila sir and Idunil teacher ,whose mentorship, discipline and belief in me played a major role in shaping who I am today. I stand where I am now because of their guidance. πππMy learning did not stop inside the classroom through self-study-and independent practice, I continued to grow- watching theatre performances, training, on my own, researching, observing, and improving my skills step by step. Those independent learning experiences became the foundation that allowed me to gain admission to the Theatre Acting Department of the Visual & Performing Artsπππ.πππTheatre acting is not just a subject I study. It is a field I love more than my own breath. It is deeply connected to my life. Theatre Acting is my journey. My voice. My lifeπππ.
